So apparently, winter did not break in upon us as expected but instead the novel coronavirus broke out and took the news by storm, currently holding the whole world in its grip and keeping it in suspense. Nobody knows for sure where this contagious disease originated from and who or what passed it on to the humans. Some researchers suspect snakes, others believe it was bats – but what has been confirmed is that the first exposures to this contagion could be tracked down to one of China’s wet markets where poultry and other farm animals are sold for food alongside of wildlife animals. Indubitably, this terrible incident puts the concept of these wet markets into question and we can only hope for scientists all over the world to conjointly crack the 2019-nCoV’s code and come up with an antiviral treatment or, better yet, a vaccine. Good luck!

Fortunately, metasfresh ERP is free of viruses and we continuously work on keeping it that way, always staying on top of the newest threats and security measures and clearing the system of any bugs that try to creep up on us in the course of our enhancement work. Every release update is like another vaccine shot that can help to resolve any symptoms your current version might be experiencing.
