Release 5.137

It has been a rather mild winter this year. Temperatures have just barely reached the freezing point over here and whenever the sun comes out during the day, a whiff of spring blows through the air despite it being deepest winter – at least astronomically speaking. Birds are probably having a hard time deciding when to migrate back from their wintering grounds and plants may be confused as to when to start budding and blooming again. Some people are even alarmed, predicting a silent spring since the number of local breeding birds has decreased dramatically over the past couple of decades.
But let’s not be discouraged now as together we are still able to turn this whole situation around for the better of nature and humanity if only we realize and acknowledge our limits to what our rightful place is on this earth and where it ends. After all, we have been and are still playing just a tiny part in this circle of life where you should never take more than you give.

Here at metasfresh we also like to live by a healthy, friendly and fair give-and-take philosophy, which is why we enjoy doing open source work so much, giving it our best to meet your requirements and satisfy individual requests. This way you can profit from the features and functionalities other users had ordered before you in the same way as new users may profit from your brilliant ideas. And our weekly releases are the best way to keep track of what’s new in metasfresh ERP!

For this week, for example, we refined the order control reports to make them show either general or selective data as needed. So now you can also request reports per team or per a specific warehouse grouping. In addition, we made receiving materials from manufacturing easier as well by presetting the default loading unit and the quantity of the consumer units so you no longer have to enter by hand what is already provided in the data received.
