Overview
Ribbit, erp, ribbit. — If frogs can be part of beer commercials, why shouldn’t they also be given the opportunity to promote ERP software? Granted, they may not be able to spell it correctly letter by letter but the pronunciation as a word would be on point!
And in honor of February 14, Happy Valentine’s Day to all you lovebirds out there! In case you are still looking for someone to share a kiss with, here’s a penny’s worth of advice: Certainly you have heard of the Brothers Grimm’s fairy tale „The Frog Prince“, but your best bet is to stay away from this little fella because despite his cute „blue jeans“ nickname and his resemblance with a strawberry, he can knock you out and take your breath away with just a touch of the lip. So we better leave him sitting there on his branch, erp-ing away and minding his own business while we tend to ours.
This week’s release update brings a couple of new windows as you can now access print jobs and print packages via the menu. Some adjustments to existing windows have been made as well, such as making purchase orders available for our tour feature and enabling them to be added to transport orders scheduled for pickups. We also enhanced shipping in general to be more robust in certain use cases and included a few more useful hints for the user to better comprehend where some errors originate from and how they can be easily rectified autonomously.
As to the bugfixes in this release, we’ve corrected some caching related issues that turned up when modifying document action permissions and we also prevented approved product translations from updating unintentionally upon changing the original product name. If we were frogs, we’d be croaking contentedly now after successfully croaking all these bugs one by one. Check out the list below for some additional information and WebUI guides!
Next week we are going to take a short break from releasing but we will be back in a hoppity-hop with a new release ready by the end of the month. Until then we would like to make the wait worth your while and reward you for your patience in advance with this new article on the benefits of integrating your company with a new ERP strategy. Enjoy the read and see you soon!
