Overview
After this year’s Black Friday frenzy in November, which was overshadowed by our enigmatic thanksgiving walrus, we are honoring its supersticious counterpart on this 13th of December, still in the waning grasp of yesterday’s full moon, with an oversized black cat – more precisely, a black panther. However, contrary to popular belief and the grim stigma society casts upon Fridays like these, we release this week’s spirit animal to deliver you with new features and fixes for your metasfresh ERP.
In addition to some general adjustments to Jasper reports and adding new fields to the request tab in the business partner window for ‚Net amount‘ and ‚Gross amount‘, we improved inventory management by adding the possibility to import initial cost prices and making sure all amounts are calculated correctly for each inventory item. We also enabled attributes of BOM components to be inherited to order lines in order to support pricing. This way the product prices are adjusted according to the attribute set in the order line which allows for maximum flexibility.
Regarding the bugs we pounced on in this release, we fixed the X button for emptying input fields as well as the time widgets restoring their functionality to record time. We also made sure invoice documents are updated correctly according to any subsequent changes made to reactivated shipment lines. And last but not least we got the sales order-related purchase order feature back working again. Speaking of which, check out the docs at the end of the list below to learn more about how to use this feature and others.
