Overview
Yodelehee-who invented it? metasfresh!
This week started off with a real nice surprise from our Swiss partner InterCheese AG who mentioned us with praise in one of their articles about their go-live with metasfresh ERP on January 06, 2020 after one year of implementation work. This is such a great honor and we are proud and happy to be a part of this huge success.
After almost two weeks now of production and on-time delivery, this fruitful cooperation has revealed and confirmed some very important insights for all of us. Maintaining your master data is essential to your business because they are not only required to fill in a few documents, they also significantly affect process workflows and help keep them stable and smooth. Also, setting priorities is key! Focussing on the things that matter at the proper time is a good way to prevent mistakes. By means of retrospective analysis it is possible to find solutions to potential problems and put them to use for the purposes of process optimization. The important thing to remember here is to distinguish between real problems that need fixing NOW – and trivial ones that can wait their turn. So if you keep your database clean and get your priorities right, you are good to go live!
At this point we would like to extend our thanks to Mr. Daniel Giger for his flattering words as well as to the whole team at InterCheese for their uncomplicated collaboration, appreciation and trust in metasfresh ERP.
Now, as to this week’s release, we enabled default packing instructions, included a UOM conversion check when recording product prices and made some improvements around customs invoices and the window for DESADV (Despatch Advice) packs. Our bugs extermination squad has worked efficiently as usual and – oh, also check out our commission feature documented in our WebUI guide if you would like to make settling your commission invoices easier.
And now, without further ado, we wish you a very nice weekend, enjoy it and see you again for the next weekly release. Uf Wiederluege!
