Overview

Brrr – temperatures have dropped quite a bit this week leaving a layer of hoar frost all over the place and reminding us that winter is still around. Perhaps this is also a warning to us to bundle up and prepare for the season to finally kick in for real. Let’s face it, so far it has been rather „meh“ around our parts here and except for a tiny nip in the air, there’s much left to be desired for a true winter experience. Who remembers their last time going downhill on a sled in the freshly fallen snow, throwing snowballs at each other or building a snowman? Those days seem so distant for some it makes you feel old even when you’re young. Knock on wood that we’re not on the brink of making snow angels go extinct as well.

While keeping fingers crossed, let’s take a look at this week’s release. Our developers who are working round the clock to improve metasfresh ERP have continued contributing greatly, loading yet another update with new features, functionalities and fixes for you to explore.

Among other adjustments in this release, we improved the Excel export functionality for price schemas, made UOM fields editable in credit memos and BOMs accessible from the „Components of the BOM & Formula“ window. Along with these changes, we also added dynamic description fields to quotations where static text copied from the document type can be edited on the fly and for each quotation separately before printing. On top of this we implemented a new process to download an Excel spreadsheet showing the number of invoices per business partner of an organization for a specific date range, and we also enabled automatic printing of shipping labels during order picking. And this is just to mention some of the new features! For more information on these and other updates along with some instructions for use within the WebUI, please refer to the list below.
